Hands Off UCThe California Alumni Association has launched “Hands Off UC,” a campaign to oppose a misguided and over-reaching legislative attack to strip UC of its autonomy under the false guise of reform. Alumni Spotlight – George Takei (Mr. Sulu)George Takei who played Mr. Sulu from the original "Star Trek," was taken from his home at the age of 4 and sent to an internment camp in Arkansas. He later enrolled at UC Berkeley where his successful acting career spanning more than five decades began. Takei recently married his partner of over two decades and has been an outspoken critic of Prop 8. To learn more about George Takei, follow this link.
