A Message from the Cal Alumni Pride Board

Dear Cal Alumni Pride Member,

We had a great time celebrating our one year anniversary at Pisco Lounge – thanks to all who came out. In this issue you will learn about a proposed constitutional amendment by politicians in Sacramento who want to strip UC of its autonomy and how this proposal could spell disaster for the future of our alma mater.

We’d also like to invite you to a jointly hosted happy hour with San Francisco alumni clubs and a networking happy hour exclusively for Berkeley alumni jobseekers. Lastly, we’d like to introduce you to one of the most well known actors and outspoken opponents of Prop 8 to have attended Cal. As always, please don’t hesitate to send your feedback and suggestions to info@calalumnipride.org.

Go Bears!
