2009 LGBT Scholarship Reception

Cal Alumni Pride hosted the first LGBT Scholarship Reception to honor and recognize the 2009 scholarship recipients. Special guests included Assemblymember Nancy Skinner, Board of Equalization Chairwoman Betty Yee, Charles Lawlor from the Office of California Assembly Speaker John Pérez, Berkeley City Councilman Kriss Worthington, GenEq Center Director Billy Curtis, UC Regent and Former CAP and CAA President Darek Defreece, and our keynote speaker Therese Stewart, San Francisco Chief Deputy District Attorney. The event took place on December 5th at the Alumni House on campus. The wine was generously donated by Rapazzini Winery.
